Ganesh Kirana & General Store

Ganesh Kirana & General Store has been sitting here on Pur Road, right by the Purani Dhan Mandi, for a good while. This part of town is always moving, with the old grain market nearby. We sell the usual things like flour, pulses, soaps, and whatever else people need for their kitchens. It’s a regular kirana shop, nothing more, nothing less. Every morning we open up and start stacking things. The shelves are usually full, but sometimes we run out of a specific brand if the delivery truck is late. People from the neighborhood come in for their daily supplies, and we know most of them by name. It’s a bit dusty because of the road and the market activity, but that’s just how it is around Purani Dhan Mandi. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything. If you need a bag of sugar or some spices, you just come in and ask. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone is working hard. Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes there’s a line, especially in the evenings when people are heading home.
