Gajwani Clinic

Gajwani Clinic is a small place located in Shastri Nagar. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past our door plenty of times. We aren't a big hospital with many floors, just a local clinic for the neighborhood. It’s been here for many years. We know most of the families who come in by their first names. It’s the kind of place where you don't need an appointment three weeks in advance. You just show up when you aren't feeling well. The waiting area is quite small, so sometimes people end up standing outside on the sidewalk for a bit if it’s a busy morning. We don't mind the crowd, it means people trust us. The interior is very basic. We have some old wooden desks and simple chairs. We don't see the point in spending money on fancy decorations when the medical work is what matters. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their health and writing out notes. It’s a quiet life in Shastri Nagar for the most part. We open up early and stay until the last patient is taken care of. There’s no big mission statement here. We just like being part of the community and helping our neighbors when they have a fever or a cough. It’s a simple, honest little clinic.
