Chankya

Nagori Garden is a nice place to be based. It’s got its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of that over the years. We go by Chankya, and most people around here just know us by the name on the front. We aren't some giant corporation with branches everywhere; we are just here in this one spot. The office is usually a bit cluttered with books and papers, which is how we like it. It shows we are actually working. Some days are really quiet and we just sit and drink coffee while waiting for the phone to ring. Other times, it’s a total mess of activity with people coming in and out all afternoon. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look impressive. If the chairs are comfortable and the light works, that’s enough for us. We just handle things as they come. If a problem pops up, we fix it. If someone asks a question, we give them a straight answer. It’s a simple way to run a business but it works for us and the people who visit. There’s no need to make things more complicated than they have to be. We’ve been in Nagori Garden long enough to know most of the local faces, and that’s the best part of being a small business in this town. We just keep doing what we do every single day.
