Out here in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, things move at their own pace. We are based at AK-27 in Kashipuri. It’s a decent area, though it gets incredibly dusty when the wind picks up. Our office is simple. We have some shelves for our files and a few chairs for when people stop by. Being Carl F India here means we handle a lot of the local coordination. It’s mostly just us sitting around the table, going over orders and checking what needs to be sent out. We don’t have any big signs or flashing lights. The building is a bit older, so the plumbing is sometimes temperamental, but we manage. We know our neighbors well, and often the courier guy just walks right in because he knows where we keep the outgoing packets. Lunch is usually something brought from home, and we talk about the weather or the local news more than anything else. It's not a high-pressure environment with people in ties. We wear what’s comfortable for the heat and just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we have to stay a bit later to finish up the paperwork for the month, but usually, we head out as soon as the sun starts going down. It’s a straightforward way to run things, without any extra fluff or complicated rules. We just do what is needed to keep the business going in Kashipuri.
