Auto Care Corporation

Being out in the RIICO Industrial Area 4th Phase means we see a lot of heavy vehicles and machinery. Our place at G- 1 - 265 is basically a big workshop. It’s usually pretty loud with the sound of tools and engines. There’s always oil on the floor no matter how much we scrub it. That’s just the nature of auto care, I guess. We spend our days under hoods or looking at tires. It’s hard work and our hands are almost always stained with grease. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. There’s a small desk where we keep the logs and the phone, but most of our time is spent out on the shop floor. The air smells like rubber and exhaust. It gets quite hot in the summer because of the metal roof. We have some big fans, but they just move the warm air around. People who come here are usually looking to get their trucks or cars back on the road quickly. They don't want a long chat, they just want things fixed. We do what we can with the parts we have on hand. Sometimes we have to wait for a delivery from the city. It’s a tough environment, but we’ve been doing this for a long time. We know the machines and we know how to handle the work at Auto Care Corporation as it comes in daily. It's a living and it keeps us busy enough for now.
