Arya Kutir Udyog

We are located in Sarafa Bazar in the Gulmand area, which is one of the older parts of the city. Arya Kutir Udyog is a small family business that we have been running for many years. Our workshop is on the upper floor of an old building, so the stairs are a bit steep and narrow. We do not have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by the materials we use and the tools we need for our daily work. It is a bit of a tight fit when we have more than three people working at once. We make things by hand, so it takes time and there is always a bit of a mess on the floor. The bazaar outside is always full of people, and the noise drifts up to our windows all day long. We do not do any big advertising. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us since my father’s time. We keep a small stove in the corner to make tea for ourselves and any visitors who drop by. It is a very simple way of living and working. We do not have a big title or a corporate structure. We are just a few people trying to make things and earn a living. It is a quiet, honest business that stays out of the way.
