We are based out of Surya Vihar Colony in Bhilai, working from the office of Shri V K Jaiswal. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main campus, which helps when we have to get through a lot of administrative work. Our desks are usually piled high with student applications, exam forms, and faculty schedules. It’s a busy place, especially when a new semester is about to start. We spend a lot of time on the phone answering questions from parents or coordinating with the engineering departments. The office is simple, with white walls and a few ceiling fans that never seem to stop. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of chairs tucked against the wall. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with people coming in and out, but we managed to keep a system going. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know this is where the college business happens. There is always a smell of old paper and ink in the air. We keep a big calendar on the wall to track all the important dates for the college year. It’s not a corporate environment; it’s more about helping students get their paperwork sorted so they can focus on their studies. We just try to stay organized and helpful to anyone who stops by with a query. Most days we are here until quite late in the evening.
