Our place is Nagarjuna Constrution Compeny Ltd. located at Bharti Niwas in Durg. Specifically, we’re in Hanuman Nagar, Titurdih. Chhattisgarh is a big area, and this is our little corner of it. The office is in a building called Bharti Niwas. It’s a simple setup where we handle the day-to-day operations for our construction projects. There’s always a lot of dust around, partly from the roads and partly from the samples we keep. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s not a corporate showroom, just a place where we get work done. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of noise as everyone gets organized. We deal with all sorts of construction tasks. Sometimes things go smoothly, and other times we are scrambling to fix a mistake or deal with a shortage of materials. That’s just the nature of the business. Hanuman Nagar is a familiar neighborhood to us now. We’ve spent many late nights at Bharti Niwas trying to get bids ready or checking the accounts. It can be stressful, but we like the work. There is no polish here, just people in work boots and shirts with a bit of dirt on them. We are just a local construction office doing our best to stay busy and keep the jobs moving forward.
