About Vinayak Mini Castings – Engineering in Bhilai
Operating out of No. 14/C in the Industrial Area means there is always some kind of noise or dust in the air. This place isn't meant for people who like to keep their clothes clean all day. We deal with metal and heat mostly. The machines take up a lot of the space on the floor and they make a steady hum that you just get used to after a while. Most of our time is spent checking the molds and making sure the metal is flowing right. It gets quite hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof of the shed. We have a small area for the paperwork but the real work happens out on the floor at 14/C. There are stacks of finished castings waiting to be picked up near the main door. We see a lot of trucks coming in and out of the industrial zone which makes the roads pretty rough. It’s a practical environment where everything has a specific spot, even if it looks a bit disorganized to an outsider. We don't spend much on decorations because they would just get covered in grime anyway. It’s just us, the iron, and the daily grind of getting things shaped right. Sometimes a machine breaks and the whole day changes while we try to fix it. We usually eat our lunch quickly near the back door where it is a bit cooler.
