Shree Vijay Enterprises

We are right in the heart of the main market in Supela, on Nehru Road. It’s very close to Nehru Bhawan, so most people around here know exactly where that is. Shree Vijay Enterprises is a small operation, but we stay very busy because of the location. There is always noise from the market outside—vendors calling out and bikes zooming past. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who are just passing through the market. Some of them have been coming to us since we first opened. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when things get a bit stressful. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here. The floor is concrete and we’ve got some metal shelves that have seen better days. But they hold everything up just fine. We usually start the day by cleaning the front area because the dust from the road gets everywhere. It’s a lot of manual work, but we don't mind it. It’s just the way life is in the market. We take things as they come and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door, whether they buy anything or not.
