Srijan Fashions Pvt. Ltd.

Our workplace is situated at No. 13/1 in Priyadarshini Parisar East, which is over in the Supela area of Bhilai. It is a busy part of town where houses and shops are all jumbled together on the same streets. Even though we have "Pvt. Ltd." in our name, we are not a huge corporate entity with hundreds of employees. Srijan Fashions is just a group of us working in a two-story building where we handle everything from the initial cutting of the fabric to the final packing of the clothes. The ground floor is usually loud with the sound of the machines, and there is always lint and thread on the floor no matter how often we sweep. We have a couple of desks upstairs where we keep the books and handle the phone calls. There is a small tea shop just down the road where we usually take our breaks and talk about things other than work for a bit. The streets around here are quite narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, it can cause a bit of a traffic jam. We don't have any polished mission statements or fancy marketing brochures to hand out. We just show up every day, look at what needs to be done, and try to get the orders out on time. It is a lot of manual work and checking numbers, but it keeps us going.
