Prem Traders

Our shop is at A/1 in Uttar Gangotri, right on G.E. Road. Being on such a main road means there is always noise from the buses and cars zooming past. Prem Traders is where we spend most of our daylight hours, surrounded by whatever stock we have on hand. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a big shipment comes in and we have to find a place for every single box. The office is small and usually has a few people standing around waiting for their turn. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long out in the heat. G.E. Road is a good place to be because people can find us easily, though parking is always a headache for everyone. We don't have any big corporate systems, just a few ledgers and a way of doing things that works for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door where there’s a bit of a breeze. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We talk to the regulars about their families and the weather while we pull their orders together. Every evening we lock up and head home, then do it all again the next morning. It’s just a normal business like any other on this stretch of road. We handle our deliveries and keep things simple without making any big fuss about it.
