We've been at No. 144 New Civic Center for a while now. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something going on outside our windows. Mostly, we just spend our days handling whatever comes through the door. Some days are quieter than others, but we usually have a lot of paperwork to get through and people to call back. Fyugen isn’t a huge operation, just a few of us here making sure things get done right. We don't have fancy office furniture or anything, just what we need to work. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the tea runs out, and we have to deal with that too. It’s just how a small office works. We know the neighbors, and we see the same people walking past every morning. It’s a good location because it’s easy for folks to find us. We try to keep things organized, though some desks look a bit messy by Friday afternoon. Most of the work is repetitive, but it’s what we do. We don't really do big speeches or meetings about goals. We just show up, check the lists, and try to finish what we started the day before. If someone walks in with a question, we answer it. If the phone rings, we pick it up. That's pretty much the whole story of what happens here at Fyugen. We like the routine of it. It keeps us busy and the bills get paid every month.
