Our office, M/S R. K. Kothari & Co., is located in Jawahar Chowk, which is a pretty well-known spot in Durg. We are chartered accountants, so as you can imagine, there are a lot of books and papers everywhere you look. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what we need to do. Working in Bhilai means we see a lot of local shopkeepers and families who have been around for generations. We don't go for any of that modern, polished office look. Instead, we have old wooden desks and plenty of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Every morning starts the same way, with tea and a look at the schedule. The area around Jawahar Chowk is always full of life, and sometimes the sounds from the street make it hard to concentrate, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We just focus on the numbers and try to get the work done correctly. People know us as R. K. Kothari & Co. and they know where to find us when tax season rolls around. We’ve been in the 490001 area for a long time. There’s no need for flashy talk or big promises here. We just do the accounting work that needs to be done and try to be helpful to those who come in. It is a simple, straightforward office for people who need their taxes sorted.
