Milaap Event And Wedding Planner is based in Shop No. 122 at the Dhillon Complex in Supela. Our shop is full of binders, fabric samples, and photos from different events. It’s a busy place because planning a wedding involves a thousand little details. People come in stressed out and we sit them down to talk about what they need. We have a lot of phone calls with decorators, caterers, and tent house people. The Dhillon Complex is usually bustling, so there is always noise from the corridor. We spend a lot of time drawing layouts on paper and checking dates on the calendar. We don't have a big fancy office, just a workspace where we can organize everything. Sometimes we are out at the venues more than we are in the shop. It’s a lot of running around and making sure the flowers arrive on time or the lights are working. We’ve been in Supela for some time now. We know most of the local suppliers by their first names. It’s a tough job but we just keep at it. We don't promise anything magical, we just try to make sure things happen the way they are supposed to. Planning takes a lot of patience and many cups of coffee. We often stay late into the night when an event is coming up just to make sure the checklists are all done.
