We are tucked away at Kay House, Plot No. 1, in Sunder Vihar Kurud. It’s near Sunder Vihar, and it’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads. J P Sports is where we keep all the gear, from cricket bats to footballs and everything else. The shop is often a bit cluttered because we get new shipments in and don't always have time to put everything on the shelves right away. You’ll see boxes stacked in the corners and nets hanging from the ceiling. I’ve been working here for a while, and I know where every single item is, even if it looks messy to someone else. Local kids come in a lot to look at the new shoes or to get their rackets re-strung. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter. We spend the mornings dusting off the equipment and checking the inventory. Sunder Vihar is a nice community, and we know many of the parents who shop for their children here. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the latest matches while we work. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be a giant chain store. We just want to make sure the local players have decent stuff to use. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy crates and organizing the stock, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night.
