You can find GURUNANAK FORGINGS at Plot No.13-E in the Light Industrial Area. This part of town is full of workshops and factories, so there is always the sound of hammers and metal clanging in the background. Our place is no different. It’s a dusty, loud environment, but that is where we do our best work. We spend a lot of time near the heat, and the floor is usually covered in iron shavings and bits of metal. We have been here for a good number of years now. The building is basically a large shed with all our forging equipment spread out. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings; if you want to talk to us, you usually have to do it over the noise of the machines. We wear our old clothes because they are just going to get dirty anyway. It is hard work and it can be exhausting when the sun is beating down on the tin roof. Our workers are tough people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't really use any complicated business words or have big goals other than finishing the orders on time. It is just about taking a piece of metal and making it into what it needs to be. We just stay focused on the heat and the timing. It’s just what we do every single day.
