Down in Chennai, you can find us at the Nandhini Apartment on Church Road in Chrompet. We are in F-1 of the D-Block. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right in the middle of the city noise, though the heat is still the same. The office is basically an apartment that we have converted into a workspace for Gmmco Ltd. It works out well because it has a kitchen and a bit more of a relaxed feel than a glass office building. We deal with a lot of the machinery requirements for this side of Chennai. Most days are spent checking inventory or talking to mechanics who need specific parts for their engines. The street outside can get a bit crowded with parked scooters, and there is a lot of green around the building which is nice to look at. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name on the door. Inside, we have a few rooms filled with desks and some storage for the smaller components we keep on hand. Sometimes the humidity is so thick you can feel it, but we have a couple of noisy AC units that do their best. It’s a solid place to work, and we all know each other’s lunch schedules by now. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure everyone gets what they need.
