We are based out in Charoda, which is in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Our office is in Panchsheel Nagar East, tucked right behind the telephone exchange building. It is a relatively quiet spot compared to the bigger cities, which actually helps us focus on what we need to do. We are the local branch for the IBMR School of Management from Pune, so a lot of our work involves coordinating between the students here and the main office. The space we have is very functional, with just the basic desks and chairs we need to keep the records in order. We spend our mornings going through emails and helping out anyone who walks in with questions about their courses or documents. Being right behind the telephone exchange makes it easy to give directions to anyone coming by for the first time. The weather in this part of Chhattisgarh can get very dry and dusty, so it feels like we are always cleaning the furniture. It is a small team here, so we all know how the daily routine goes and who is responsible for what. We don't use any complicated systems or fancy software. We just stick to the schedule and make sure the administrative work gets handled properly. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a short break until things are running again. It is a steady pace of work without too much drama.
