Down in the Chemical Zone of Sarigam, specifically at Plot No. 2813, you’ll find Pharma Chemicals Industries. Being in the Bhilad area of Gujarat means we are surrounded by other plants just like ours. It’s a very industrial setting. The roads are a bit rough and there’s always a lot of dust from the construction nearby. We focus on pharmaceutical chemicals. Our facility is kept as clean as we can manage, considering the environment outside. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us are in lab coats or work clothes. We have a small lab where we test things, and the rest of the space is for production and storage. The guys on the floor have been here for years and they know the processes inside out. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with other companies in the zone. We spend a lot of time checking temperatures and mixing times. It’s meticulous work, but we don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just what we do. Lunchtime is usually spent together under the shade of the few trees we have out front. It’s a quiet, hard-working atmosphere. We just try to do a good job every day and get home to our families, though sometimes the late shifts make that a bit difficult during the busy season.
