Mayka Packaging Solutions

Our place is Plot No 1610/6 over in GIDC Sarigam. If you've been to this part of Gujarat, you know it's a big industrial hub. There are rows and rows of plots just like ours. At Mayka Packaging Solutions, we spend our days surrounded by rolls of material and stacks of boxes. It’s a very practical environment. There isn't any fancy art on the walls or plush carpets. It’s mostly concrete floors and the sound of tape dispensers and packing tools. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot, though by noon, the sun is usually beating down on the roof. We have a small area where we keep our records and a computer, but most of the action happens on the floor. People are always moving things from one side to the other. We get a lot of visitors from other units nearby, mostly just neighbors saying hello or asking for a bit of help with something. We try to keep things organized, but when a big order comes in, the whole place gets covered in packaging supplies for a few days. It's a bit chaotic then, but we like it that way. We don't worry about looking corporate or professional in the traditional sense; we just focus on getting the packaging right and making sure it gets to where it’s going. The street outside is usually lined with trucks waiting to load up, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting in and out.
