Vijay Optical Industries

Vijay Optical Industries is located at G-1 in Salasar Kunj. We are situated right behind Hamara Bazar on the 60 Feet Cross Road. It is a bit of a specific location, but once you find Hamara Bazar, we are just a short walk around the corner. The shop is where we handle all the optical work, from looking at frames to dealing with lenses. It is a lot of fine work, so we spend plenty of time sitting at the benches with small tools in our hands. The 60 Feet Cross Road is usually quite busy, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background. Inside Salasar Kunj, it is a bit more focused and quiet. We have boxes of frames everywhere and we are always trying to find more space to put things. It isn't a glossy showroom; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get done. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do here. We just fix glasses and help people see better. Some days the work is slow and we just sit and talk, and other days we can't keep up with the repairs coming in. It is just the two of us mostly, managing the shop and making sure the orders are ready on time. We like being tucked away behind the main market because it gives us a bit of peace to do our work properly.
