Vinayaka Electrical Industries

Our shop is at No. 40-I2, on the 1st Cross of the Dodda Nekkundi Industrial Estate. It’s under the Mahadevapura P. O. jurisdiction. We’ve been here for several years now, and the industrial estate has changed quite a bit in that time. Our focus is on electrical work, which means our shop is full of wires, components, and heavy tools. It isn't a very clean place, as there is always some scrap metal or insulation on the floor. We don't have a front office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working at the benches. The noise from the nearby shops is pretty loud throughout the day, but we don't notice it much anymore. We have a small group of workers who have been together for a long time. We don't spend time on things like mission statements or corporate goals. We just look at the jobs we have for the day and try to get through them. Sometimes the deliveries are late because the trucks get stuck in the traffic on the 1st Cross. We just deal with it as it happens. The building stays pretty hot in the summer, so we have a few old fans running all the time. It’s a practical, no-frills environment. We are just here to do electrical work and that’s about it. Most of our regulars are other businesses from around the industrial estate. We usually finish up around six each day.
