Gold Marshal Plastic Industries

Our shop, Gold Marshal Plastic Industries, is located at Plot 307 in the GIDC area. It’s right across from Nani Khodiar, same as a few other businesses around here. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the sound of the machines. They hum and click all day long. There’s a faint smell of warm plastic in the air that never really goes away, but we don’t even notice it anymore. We have bags of raw material stacked up against the walls and finished parts in bins ready to go out. The floor is usually covered in little scraps that we sweep up at the end of the shift. It’s a hot place to work, especially in the middle of the afternoon when the sun hits the metal walls. We have some big fans running, but they mostly just move the warm air around. There’s a small desk in the front where we keep the ledger and handle the phone calls. Most of the guys have been working here for a while, so we have a rhythm. We don’t have any fancy signs or a reception area. If someone comes by, they just shout over the noise of the machines to get our attention. It’s a lot of repetitive work, checking the molds and making sure the pieces come out right. We just stay focused on the tasks at Plot 307 and keep things moving as best as we can.
