You can find Sundaram Auto Parts right across from the HDFC Bank in Botad. Being in the Bhavanagar district, we are in a spot that gets a fair amount of local traffic. People usually stop by when they’re heading into town or doing their banking. The shop isn’t very big, but we’ve managed to pack it full of all kinds of auto parts. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. We’ve been running this place for a long time, and the shelves are quite old now. We know exactly where every bolt and belt is located, even if it looks a bit disorganized to an outsider. The floor is concrete and often has a few oil stains here and there. It’s just the nature of the business. We don't have any staff in uniforms or anything like that. It’s just us in our regular clothes, ready to help find whatever part someone is looking for. The sun shines right into the shop in the afternoon, so it can get pretty warm. We usually have a small radio playing in the background to keep things lively. Botad is a nice enough place to work, and being near the bank makes it easy for folks to find us. We don’t do any big advertising; we just rely on local people knowing we’re the place to go for their needs.
