Visco Starch

You can find us over at Visco Starch, right on Station Road in Block No. 1. Being on Station Road means there is a lot of traffic and people heading to and from the trains all day long. The noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our building is pretty plain. We are in the first block, so we are easy to spot from the street. Inside, it is all business. We deal with starch, so things can get a little dusty if we aren't careful. It’s a practical space. We don't have any big corporate signs or a fancy waiting room. There are just desks, some sample bags, and the equipment we use for our daily tasks. The rhythm of the day is often set by the train schedule. You hear the whistles and the rumbling of the tracks throughout the morning and afternoon. We have been at this location for a good while. Most of the shop owners nearby know us by name. We just show up in the morning, open the doors, and start working through the pile of things to do. It isn't a complicated setup. We like it that way. When the day is over, we lock up and head out like everyone else on the road. It is just a regular life on Station Road. The trains are loud but we don't mind much. We just keep our heads down.
