Sir T Hospital

We’ve been here on Jail road for quite a while now. It’s a busy part of town and there is always something going on outside our doors, mostly traffic and people heading to the market nearby. The building itself has seen better days, with some cracks in the plaster and paint that’s faded over the years, but it holds up and does what it needs to do for everyone who comes in. Most of the folks working here grew up in the area, so we know a lot of the faces that walk in through the front entrance. It isn't a flashy place with big signs or expensive art on the walls. We have some heavy wooden benches in the waiting area that have been there since I can remember. The doctors are usually running from one room to another, and the nurses are always checking charts or talking to families in the hallways. It gets pretty loud in the mornings when the traffic on Jail road picks up. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch over to the generator, which makes a lot of noise and smells like diesel. We don't really have a fancy website or anyone to write nice things about us. We just open up the doors, take care of the people who show up, and go home when the shift is finally over. There’s a small tea shop just down the street where most of us go on break to grab a quick snack and some chai.
