Shyam Spices

Our business, Shyam Spices, is located at Plot Number 28 in the GIDC Industrial Area, specifically in the Shankar Tekri section of Udyog Nagar. This is a very industrial part of Jamnagar, and you can tell as soon as you drive into the area. There are rows and rows of units, and ours is one of the many where we process spices. Shankar Tekri is known for this kind of work, and we have our small spot among the others. The area is usually full of the smell of spices being roasted or ground, which can be quite strong if you aren't used to it. The plot itself is a workspace designed for efficiency rather than looks. We have concrete floors that have seen a lot of wear and tear over the years. We spend our days managing the raw spices that come in and making sure the grinders are working correctly. It is a lot of physical labor, moving heavy sacks and making sure everything is stored properly. The Udyog Nagar area is always humming with the sound of machinery and the movement of transport vehicles. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on getting the work done and making sure our small part of the GIDC stays productive. It is a long day's work, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep the machines going and wait for the evening when we can finally head home.
