Shri Sundhai Engineering

Our workshop, Shri Sundhai Engineering, is located at Plot No-173 in the G.I.D.C Chitra industrial area. We are quite close to the post office here which is handy for mail and stuff. Being in a G.I.D.C means it is always noisy with the sound of machines and trucks moving around all day long. We have a variety of lathes and welding equipment inside the shed. It is usually quite hot and the floors are always stained with oil no matter how much we sweep. We do a lot of repair work for other factories nearby and sometimes we fabricate small parts from scratch. It’s just a small team of us and we’ve been working together for years. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. Most of our meetings happen standing up over a blueprint or a piece of metal. Sometimes the grease gets on everything including the tea cups but that’s just how an engineering shop is. We take on whatever work comes through the door as long as we have the tools to do it. It’s steady work and we don’t feel the need to make it sound more complicated than it is. If you're looking for a place that gets its hands dirty to fix something then we are the ones. Just look for the big blue door near the post office and you will see us.
