Shree Hari Krishna Clinic

Botad Town is where we are located, specifically near the Ram Mandir. You can hear the temple bells from our doorway during the morning and evening prayers. It is a simple place with white walls that we try to keep clean, though the dust from the street always finds a way in. We have a small waiting area with wooden benches where people sit and talk while they wait to see the doctor. Mostly it is families from around the neighborhood or people coming in from the nearby villages. We have a desk with a lot of registers and papers because we still write everything down by hand. There is a small curtain that separates the check-up area from the front. It is quiet here in the middle of the afternoon when the sun is high, but the mornings are very busy with people coughing or wanting their blood pressure checked. We keep a small fridge for certain medicines and a glass cabinet with basic supplies like bandages and cotton. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving. Being near Ram Mandir makes it easy for people to find us. We just open the doors early, sweep the front step, and start the day. It is just a regular local clinic where we know most of our patients by their first names and they know us too.
