Shixarambh Foundation

Shixarambh Foundation is based out in the Bhavnagar district, specifically in Taluka Talaja. We are located at Plot No. 27 on Rampara Road, in an area known as Datrad Vadi. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city center, but we like it out here. The air is a bit different and it feels more connected to the local life. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's just a functional building where we handle our foundation's business. We have been here for a while, and the people around Rampara Road know us well enough by now. We spend our mornings getting through the mail and our afternoons meeting with folks from the surrounding villages. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we work. There is no corporate vibe here at all. We are just local people working for the community. Sometimes the road gets a bit muddy when it rains, making it tricky for visitors, but we manage. We aren't a big organization with lots of money to spend on fancy things. Most of what we have goes straight into the work we do. It’s a simple life here in Bhavnagar. We just want to make sure the foundation keeps running smoothly so we can continue helping out where it’s needed in Talaja without making any fuss or noise about it.
