S.D. Gandhi & Co.

S.D. Gandhi & Co. is situated over on Deri Road in the Danapith area. We are very close to the Manekwadi Railway Station, so we hear the trains whistling and moving by all day long. This business has been around for a very long time. It was started by the family generations ago and we have managed to keep it going through all sorts of changes in the local market. The office is old and honestly looks it, filled with heavy wooden desks and stacks of paper ledgers. We haven't moved to having everything on computers yet because the old way of doing things still works just fine for us and our regular customers. Danapith is a very busy market area, and you can usually smell the different goods being traded as you walk down the street toward us. It is a lively place to spend the day. We don't have any marketing people or a page on the internet. Most people know who we are just by seeing the name on the door when they walk past. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and making sure that everything is moving along as it should. It is not exactly a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the heavy rain makes Deri Road a bit of a mess to walk through, but people still find their way here to talk to us. We value the relationships we have built.
