Satyam Garments

Satyam Garments is located at Laxminarayan Nivas. We are right near the Lohana Vadi and just behind the Vardhman Bank in the Khargate area. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't familiar with the landmarks. The building is an older one, and we are tucked away in a spot that feels more like a home than an office. We spend our days surrounded by finished garments and sewing supplies. The sound of the bank across the way and the people going to the Vadi is the background noise of our lives. It’s a practical space. We’ve got a couple of big tables for folding and a few chairs that have seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the work to worry about that. We have a small corner where we keep our bags and lunch boxes. Most of the people who come by are locals or folks who have been sent our way by word of mouth. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. We just focus on getting the garments ready and out the door. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, and we have to help move things around. It's just the way things go in this neighborhood. We stay busy, we drink our tea, and we finish the work before the sun goes down and we head home.
