Natraj Rubbers

We operate out of Plot No. 51 in the Chitra GIDC area. As the name suggests, we work with rubber products. It is a messy business, to be honest. There is usually a distinct smell of rubber in the air around our shop. We have a few old presses and some molds that we use every day. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy sheets and making sure the temperature is just right. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom. If you come to see us, you will see the reality of a small rubber factory. There are scraps of material on the floor and the walls are stained from years of production. We have been in Chitra for a while now. The industrial estate has changed, but we have stayed mostly the same. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. We know our machines and how they behave. Some days are frustrating when a mold gets stuck, but we figure it out. We don’t make big promises. We just try to make the parts as the customers ask for them. The office is just a desk in the corner of the main shed. We do our paperwork there amidst the noise. It is a humble setup, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get through the day's tasks.
