We’ve been here on Nari Road for quite a while now. If you know the Dr. Ambedkar Circle in Bhavnagar, you’ve probably passed by our place. We are just Gujarat Pickers Industries Ltd., and we do our work without making much noise. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, but the work doesn't stop. We make pickers for the textile industry. It’s specific stuff, not something everyone understands, but for the mills, it’s important. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep the machines running. Some of the guys have been working here since they were young. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s more about the grease and the metal. People stop by to talk business or just to say hello when they are passing through the circle. We keep things simple because it’s easier that way. Dealing with industrial supplies means a lot of paperwork and heavy lifting. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic near the city center, but that’s just life in Bhavnagar. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure our customers get what they ordered on time. The floors are a bit dusty and the tea is usually too sweet, but it feels like home to us. If you need to find us, just look for the sign near the main road. We’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down.
