Gautam Enterprise

Our place is tucked away on Mehta Street, specifically in the Modi Faliyu area of Bhavnagar. It’s a traditional kind of spot, very different from the new developments you see on the outskirts. We’ve been operating Gautam Enterprise from here for a while. The street is narrow, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't used to it. We deal with all sorts of daily tasks and the heat in summer can be something else. We usually keep the fans running full blast and drink a lot of water while we work. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us making sure things go smoothly. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find us because they’ve known us for years or someone told them where to turn. The office is full of files and old ledgers because we still like to keep track of things on paper alongside the computer. It feels more real that way. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to do our job well and go home to our families at the end of the day. Sometimes we stay late when there's a big order, but usually, we close up when the sun goes down. The neighborhood is mostly families and other small businesses, so it feels very safe and familiar. We have a small bench outside where we sit sometimes to talk to the neighbors. It’s a quiet, steady life here in Bhavnagar and we are quite content with that.
