We've been around Manibai Chowk for a bit now. It's right near JV Modi High School, so we get a lot of students coming by when their straps break or they need something sturdy for books. We mostly deal with all kinds of bags. Not just the fancy stuff but regular school bags, travel bags, and sometimes repairs. Fixing a zipper or a buckle is half our day. It’s a small shop, nothing too fancy. People know where we are because of the high school. If you're walking past the chowk, you'll see us. My father started this, and I just kept it going. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us working with the machines. It gets noisy sometimes but that’s how work goes. We handle different materials, mostly heavy fabrics that last. Sometimes people bring in old bags they don't want to throw away, and we try to see if we can patch them up. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just trying to do right by the people who live around here. The street can get busy during school hours, especially when the bells ring, but it’s a good spot. We stay open most days. Nothing too complicated, just making and fixing bags like we always have. We’ve got needles, thread, and scrap material everywhere. It’s what keeps the place running day after day.
