Amar Traders is right here at Plot No. 777 in Alang. You can’t miss us because we are sitting exactly opposite the new police station. It is a busy spot on this side of Manar Tal in Talaja. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot over the ship-breaking yards. We spend a lot of time dealing with various items that come through here. The office is simple and gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up from the coast. People stop by all the time asking for directions since the police station is a big landmark now. We have been in this part of Alang for a while. The road outside can get crowded with trucks and heavy vehicles moving parts around. It is noisy and there is always something happening. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily trade. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two but we just sit outside and wait. There is a small tea stall nearby where we get our morning chai. It is not a fancy place by any means. Just a solid plot of land where we do our business every day except Sundays. We know most of the neighbors and the guys working at the station across the way. If you are looking for Plot 777, just look for the police building and you are basically there. It is a straightforward operation we have going on here.
