Our office is up on the first floor over at Steel Centre. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the UBI ATM in Lokhand Bazar. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs but you get used to it after a while. The bazar is always crowded, especially in the mornings when the trucks are trying to get through the narrow lanes. We’ve been in this spot for some time now and seen a lot of shops come and go. It’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and talking to people on the phone. The windows don’t let in much light because of the other buildings being so close, so we keep the lights on all day. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have a small fan that does the trick. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays out front. People usually find us because they were told we are here. We spend a lot of time just keeping track of what is coming in and what is going out. It’s not the kind of work that makes for a great story, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes we go downstairs to get a snack from the street vendors when things slow down. It’s a plain place, but it works for what we need to do every day. We don't use any complicated systems, just pen and paper and some basic records.
