If you know the Sant Kanwarram Chowk area in Kalanala, you probably know the Shilpgram Complex. We are in room 205. It is a busy spot, especially with all the traffic coming through the chowk every day. Our trading business is run from this small office. It is mostly boxes and files everywhere you look. Trading is a lot of back-and-forth communication, so the phones are usually ringing or someone is typing away. We don't have a big showroom or anything. It's just a place where we manage the buying and selling. The stairs in the complex can be a bit much if the elevator is acting up, which happens now and then. We have been in this location for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners in the building. It feels like a little community. The office itself is nothing special, just enough space for us to sit and handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when new stock details arrive, but we manage. People know where to find us if they need to talk business. Kalanala is a good place for trading because everyone is always passing through. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It is a practical way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit repetitive sometimes.
