You can find Shivam Twistex Pvt. Ltd. over on Moti Talav Road. We are located inside the old Match Factory Compound. It is a pretty interesting place to work because the buildings have a lot of history and old character to them. We have been operating out of this compound for a good many years now. The twisting machines make a whole lot of noise when they are running, so it is never really quiet during our shifts. We do a lot of work with yarn and various types of threads that need twisting. It can be quite dusty work with all the fibers in the air, but we have gotten used to it. The compound is home to several other small businesses, so there is always a lot of activity and people moving around the common areas. We like to start our day very early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. My uncle was the one who started this whole operation, and these days we just focus on keeping the machines maintained and running smoothly. We don't have a big corporate office or a fancy lobby. There is just a small side room with a wooden desk and some yarn samples kept on the shelves. Most of our day is spent walking the floor and watching the tension on the lines to make sure nothing snaps or gets tangled. It is repetitive work, for sure, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we like.
