Our clinic is inside the Rainbow Children Hospital at 301 Carlton Square. This is in the Kalanala area. It's a busy building with a lot of different things happening on different floors. We are up on the third floor. Being part of the hospital complex means there are always people moving around the hallways. It’s not a very big space, but it fits our desk and the supplies we need. We spend the day looking over files and speaking with whoever comes in to see us. The view from Carlton Square is mostly of the other buildings and the street below. Kalanala can be quite noisy with all the traffic, but being on the 301 level helps a bit with that. We don't have any flashy decorations. It’s just a place to do work. We keep the shelves organized as best as we can, though things get moved around during a busy shift. Most people find us through the main hospital entrance. We’ve been here long enough that the staff in the other offices know us by name. It’s a practical setup for what we do. Every morning we check the schedule and get the lights turned on. It feels like a small community inside this one building. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, so we tell people to give themselves an extra minute to reach us. We try to be patient with the daily rush of the city.
