Kaushal Industries

Finding Kaushal Industries isn’t too hard if you look for the big water tank. We are right there at Plot No. 61, right beside the gas agency. You can usually hear the trucks from the agency pulling in and out all day. It’s a busy corner of the area. We have a decent sized yard where we keep some of the bigger items. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of deliveries arriving at once. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main workshop. It has a window that looks out onto the street so we can see who’s coming. We don’t have any fancy signs, just the name painted near the door. The roof leaks a tiny bit in the corner when it rains really hard, so we keep a bucket there. It’s a practical place. We don't spend time on things that don't matter, like making the walls look pretty. We focus on the machines and getting the orders ready for the customers. Most of the people working here live close by, so they walk or bike in. We drink a lot of tea to keep going, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job, but nobody complains much. It’s just the way the business is. We like being near the tank because it’s a good landmark for people.
