Karena Clinic

We are located on Jesar Road in Savarkundla, which is part of the Amreli district. Karena Clinic is right across from the Sanathan Ashram. It is a quiet enough spot, although the road sees a lot of farmers and tractors during the harvest season. The clinic is a simple building that we have been using for years. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we keep it clean and organized inside. We have a small waiting area and a room where we see people. Savarkundla is the kind of town where you recognize most people on the street. We don't do any big advertising or have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up every morning and open the doors. The Ashram across the street is a good landmark for people coming from further away. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it’s not too busy. We handle all sorts of daily health issues that people bring to us. It’s a lot of listening and writing things down. Our staff is small, usually just two or three of us. We have lived in this area for a long time, so we understand how things work here. It’s a practical, local clinic with no frills. We just do our job on Jesar Road and go home to our families in the evening. There are no corporate meetings here, just us talking about the day's patients over tea. It is a humble place.
