Our place is at Plot No. 7 in the Paras Industrial Estate right near the Garibsha Pir in Sihor. It is a location that is fairly easy to find if you know the local landmarks. Kanadia Fyr Fyter Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. We deal with safety equipment mainly fire extinguishers and that sort of thing. The workshop is usually full of red cylinders and the smell of fresh paint and metal. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We don't sit behind desks all day long; most of us are out on the floor making sure things are filled and tested correctly. It is important work but we don't treat it like some high-level corporate mission. We just know that if someone needs a fire extinguisher in an emergency it better work properly. The estate can get quite dusty and the sun beats down pretty hard in Sihor during the summer but we have our routine. We start early in the morning and have our tea and then get straight to it. We know the other business owners around Paras Industrial Estate and we help each other out when someone’s truck gets stuck. We aren't big on fancy slogans or marketing. We just want to make sure the equipment we send out is reliable. It is a simple way of doing things.
