We are located at Plot No. 77, Sheetlamani Dereethi, right across from the Sona Hotel on Nari Road. This is in Bhavnagar. It is a good location because everyone knows where the Sona Hotel is. We have been operating here for some time now. We help people save money in a mutual benefit way. Basically, the members all help each other out with their small funds. Our office is not very big. It is a practical space where we can sit down with people and go over their savings records. We do not use any polished marketing speak here. We just tell people how it is and how the system works. Sometimes it is busy and we have people waiting outside, but we try to get to everyone quickly. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the start. We do a lot of counting and checking of the books to make sure everything is right. It is a lot of responsibility, but we take it seriously. We do not have fancy uniforms or a lobby with coffee. Just a normal room where we do business. Most of our members are local workers and small business owners from Nari Road and the surrounding area. They trust us because we are part of the same community. We just keep doing our work every day, one entry at a time. It is a simple, honest way to run things in Bhavnagar.
