Anand Synthetics

If you walk into Sagar Complex and head up to unit 222, that is where you will find us. Anand Synthetics has been operating out of Jashwaonath Chowk in Bhavnagar for quite some time. It’s a busy area with a lot of foot traffic and noise from the street below. Our space is filled with rolls of fabric and various synthetic materials we keep in stock. It gets a bit cramped in the office when a new shipment arrives, and we often have to shuffle boxes around just to find a chair to sit on. We spend most of our hours talking to suppliers and checking the quality of the threads ourselves. Bhavnagar is a good place for this kind of work, though the heat in the summer makes the warehouse area pretty stuffy and uncomfortable. We aren't a huge operation, just a few of us making sure orders get sorted and sent out. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it is quiet enough to catch up on the piles of paperwork that sit on the desk. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still scribbled on pads or the back of envelopes. People know where to find us if they need specific materials. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to do.
