We work out of Devi Bhuvan, which is located on Victoria Park Road. We are quite close to Jewels Circle, which is a very busy part of town. It is a nice area to be in because of the park nearby, although we do not get much time to go walking there. Our business is all about plastics, so we have a lot of molds and equipment squeezed into our space. It is a bit of a tight fit sometimes, but we make it work. The building itself, Devi Bhuvan, has been around for a long time. It has a bit of character to it, unlike those new glass boxes they build now. We have a few machines running most of the day, so there is a constant hum in the background. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We do not do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they know someone who worked with us before. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the plastic parts we make. It is tedious work but it has to be done. The traffic around Jewels Circle can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap things up before the rush starts. We are not fancy, just a group of people making plastic goods in an old part of town.
