Industrial Jewels Pvt. Ltd. is based at Devi Bhuvan on Victoria Park Road. It’s a nice enough area, and the building has been there for a long time. We don't actually deal with the kind of jewels you wear. Our work is more about industrial components, like bearings and precision parts that use hard stones. It’s very specific work and requires a lot of focus. The office and workshop at Devi Bhuvan are where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a lot of fine-tuning and checking things under magnifying glasses. We aren't a big factory, more of a specialized workshop. Victoria Park Road is usually quite pleasant, which is a nice change from the noisier parts of the city. We have a small team of people who really know their stuff. Most of them have been with us for a decade or more. We don't have a big reception area or anything polished. When you walk in, you’re likely to see someone working at a bench or looking through a microscope. It’s a quiet kind of work. We don't do much in the way of advertising because our customers usually find us through word of mouth. We just try to make sure every piece we produce is as good as it can be. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it’s served us well so far. The tea breaks are the best part of the day.
