We’re located at Raj’s Delo in the Vadava Siddivad area of Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Our post box is 364001. This branch has been part of the Vadva neighborhood for a long time. It’s a busy place with people coming in to deposit cash or update their passbooks. We have the usual bank counters and a few desks for the officers. It’s not a silent place; there’s always the sound of counting machines and people talking. Sometimes the line gets long, especially on Mondays or at the start of the month. We try to move as fast as we can, but paperwork takes time. The building itself is an older one, which gives it a bit of character. We have high ceilings and fans that hum all day long. Most of us living in Bhavnagar know the regulars who come in every week. We hear about their families and their businesses. It’s more than just numbers to us. We don't have those fancy automated kiosks you see in the big cities. We do things mostly the old-fashioned way with a bit of computer work mixed in. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we're thankful for the shade of the building. We wear our uniforms and try to stay organized despite the stacks of ledgers. It’s a local hub for the community here. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and start the day. It’s a job we take seriously because people rely on us for their savings.
